Here are some of the questions that are frequently asked by our clients, but should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to provide you with any information you require for your charter. 

Can we wear shoes on the yacht?

All Waterline Charters Yachts have a no shoes policy.  All shoes will be collected prior to boarding and will be stored on board during the charter. Shoes will then be returned to guests to put on once disembarked from the vessel. You are welcome to wear socks if you would prefer. 

If you have a medical condition that requires you to wear a form of shoe, please don't hesitate to discuss this with us so we can ensure your comfort.

Where can we smoke on board?

Waterline Charters has a no smoking policy while cruising to avoid damage to the yacht caused by ash/embers. A designated outdoor smoking area will be advised by crew for when the vessel is at anchor or berthed. Smoking is not permitted inside at any time. A suitable ashtray will be provided for proper disposal. 

Can we use the Hot Spa on board the yachts?

A Hot Spa is available on Phoenix One and Princess V for day charters, longer than 6 hours and for overnight charters. Due to the length of time required to fill and heat the spa, please advise ahead of charter if you would like to use this facility so a suitable itinerary can be planned as the yachts are unable to travel with the spa full.

Can we go swimming on our Day Charter?

If you would like to arrange swimming as part of your day charter, please advise us ahead of charter so a suitable location can be provided. Please note that all guests entering the water do so at their own risk. For large groups we may need to arrange a lifeguard and large tender transfers to shore at an additional cost, requirements will be advised at time of booking.

We do not recommend swimming with consumption of alcohol, and reserve that right to prevent any passenger who we deem unfit from entering the water to ensure the safety of guests and crew.

What if the weather is bad?

If the weather is inclement, this will usually not affect your charter, however in rare cases where the Captain has deemed it unsafe to proceed with the charter due to weather conditions we will liaise with you about changes to your charter schedule or date or in cases where alternative dates are unsuitable a refund will be discussed with you.
